The Munson Heritage festival is a very popular event in the fall in Santa Rosa County. Santa Rosa County ARES & CERT teams have been asked to provide communications and first aid support at the annual Munson Heritage Festival at the Krul Recreation Area on Saturday October 10th and Sunday October 11th from 9A-5P. Shifts will be in 4-hour blocks. Water/hydration will be available at incident command. First aid station and roving volunteers will need to have completed basic first aid certification & CPR/AED training.
Due to liability concerns, minors (children under 18) are not permitted to volunteer or accompany our volunteers during events. With any event we work, please make sure to bring necessary personal items such as hydration, snacks, sunscreen, chairs or any other items you may need for the incident (traffic vests, etc.) While we strive to have supplies at each event, please be prepared in case something comes up that prevents your access to these supplies at the event.
