Ascension Sacred Heart has asked us to be present for a hurricane outreach event. Volunteers will pass out materials from SRC EM and talk with visitors about hurricane preparedness. A booth will need to be setup and broken down. A morning and afternoon shift have been established. The event is from 1000-1600.
Due to liability concerns, minors (children under 18) are not permitted to volunteer or accompany our volunteers during events. With any event we work, please make sure to bring necessary personal items such as hydration, snacks, sunscreen, chairs or any other items you may need for the incident (traffic vests, etc.) While we strive to have supplies at each event, please be prepared in case something comes up that prevents your access to these supplies at the event. After action reports can be sent to srcares@santarosa.fl.gov.
