To simplify our signup process & get it in line with our other activities, we are moving our weekly Santa Rosa County Citizen Corps Net Control Station (NCS) signup to "Get Connected."  The net is every week at 1900 CT on the 146.700 K4SRC repeater.

This opportunity is for Santa Rosa County employees.

The University of Florida/IFAS is seeking volunteer support with parking operations at the 2026 Spring Festival of Flowers at Pensacola State College Milton campus.

The festival spans three consecutive days, beginning on Friday, April 10th. Two volunteer shifts are available each day - 8 AM to 12 PM and 12 PM to 4 PM.

Proceeds support scholarships, student field trips, and vital educational opportunities for students.

CERT has been requested to provide traffic and parking coordination services for the University of Florida/IFAS Spring Festival of Flowers, which will be held at the Milton campus of Pensacola State College. In addition to managing traffic and parking, CERT will also operate a first aid tent to support the event.

The festival will take place over three consecutive days, beginning on Friday, April 10th. Event hours for each day are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Multiple shifts are available each day, and volunteers are encouraged to sign up for as many shifts as their schedules permit.

Please ensure your attire is appropriate for the current weather conditions. It is recommended to wear a hat or other suitable head covering, and your CERT vest must be worn at all times during the event

If you are unable to stand for extended periods, alternative assignments with lighter physical demands will be available.

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) has been requested to provide support for the upcoming Coon Hill 5K race. Volunteers will be responsible for administering first aid and managing traffic control throughout the event. The duration of the race is expected to be approximately 3 to 4 hours. All volunteers are required to wear their CERT vests for proper identification.

CERT has been requested to assist with the Sunset Stampede 5k race on Navarre Beach. Team members are assigned to provide traffic control at all major intersections along the racecourse. Please ensure you wear your CERT vest and bring a flashlight or traffic wand for visibility and safety. All volunteers will meet at the Navarre Beach public boat launch. 

CERT and ARES have been requested to provide a static display and skill stations specifically designed for students in grades 6 through 12. This event is scheduled for Saturday, April 25th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Volunteers may sign up to be responsible for our daily cat adoption area to include cleaning, feeding,  sanitizing, and socializing!  A class is required before beginning so please contact Tara for details!
